This shelf was easy to put together, is just the right size, and is very cute. With the low price, I knew I was getting a simple shelf, of course. However, as I peeled off one of the label stickers for the shelf pieces, if peeled off some of the pink color underneath. So before even using the shelf, it already has damage just from removing the factory label stickers, which was disappointing. It still works great though, and the peeled off area is not super visible now that I have some items on the shelf. I like the depth of the shelves and how the color pops from inside the shelf. It feels stable and strong enough to hold what I had planned to use it for.

I got the 7 cube shelf and I love it. It’s easy to assemble and looks great, and it can fit in a variety of spaces because it’s not too wide or long. The quality of the wood is good and it’s overall sturdy. Also it shipped and arrived very quickly after I ordered so I was surprised!
It’s a nice touch to my room and makes a good home for my books (and some yarn),
Thank you!

it’s a good bookcase. I wanted one that I could use as a TV ledge cube display, lying on its side. This works fine like that.
The reason i’m writing the review is because of the initial disappointment with the product, the materials, and the build.
As with all the pressed board cabinets, shelving, dressers etc. that I’ve put together through the years, I glue every joint with a good quality wood glue. It simply makes it hold together and lets me pick it up and move it without it falling apart. I’ve put together a bunch of these over the last 40 years they have been available.
Here are the things that just weren’t right.
1. it comes in a box that is only about 3′ long. Since once it’s put together it’s a little over 4′ tall, that means it has to come in 2 sections. One has 2 cubes and the other has the rest.
2. the standard furinno build quality just was not there. Screws instead of dowels, only locking screws to join the top and bottom, no attempt to put them in a non-visible place,…
3. this one still upsets me. The sticky paper part number labels: A, B, C… used to identify the parts for assembly, were apparently put on when the paint was fresh, or they used a different type of adhesive on the labels. In any case, pulling off the labels also pulled off the paint beneath them. After about 3, I stopped. Now I have to figure out how to get them off without leaving blemishes on the case.
4. Minor thing. This set has those really thin backer boards so you can’t see through to the wall. Nice touch. The problem is that they are just a little too long/short to be able to butt them both together at one of the shelves. Instead, you can secure one of the backs to the shelf and the other has no top match and just hangs loose.
5. The screw holes that are predrilled (thank you), are not wide enough to sink the screws into. The screws are standard black 1-½ inch sheetrock screws. black sticky tape circles are provided to cover the screws, but as they still stick out, you can’t actually cover the screws without leaving a lump where they are.
It looks ok. It is much more fragile than I expected, I really wanted one of their 2×4 cases, only with just a 1×4 format. Next time I’ll go to IKEA.
Since this is just a TV stand, I’ll live with it. If you wanted it for a “nice” piece of furniture to match your other cube furniture, I’d keep looking.

This is a beautiful shelf/bookcase once you put it all together. I did this on my own with an electric drill and it took me 2.5 hours. I spent most of my time fighting with the weird screws that aren’t really screws (you’ll know what I’m talking about if you buy it) and ended up nixing them altogether because it would never fit properly no matter which way I tried to assemble it. I’m literally just a girl, how can I be expected to know what those things are supposed to do? You can see in the photos that with those two imposter screws on the top and bottom, it makes the horizontal boards uneven and won’t sit flush against the vertical boards. I guess we will find out in a few months if I ever really needed those “screws” but so far, she’s holding up nicely.

Repainting and refreshing my home. Decided on the color scheme of gray/white trim. Needed a white bookshelf to place in the hallway. This was the perfect height, width, & color. It was super easy to put it together. I had no issues. It took me about 45 minutes whereas the instructions cites 30 minutes. I had my husband help me place the top of the shelf onto the bottom. There were no issues of the holes lining up perfectly, the color was perfect as well as the material. The boards and other materials weren’t flimsy or warped. The plastic pieces were good too. It’s very sturdy and looks great. It wasn’t heavy either. I had no problem moving it to its new home. I initially used a Phillips head; however, I changed to the electric drill. It went much faster and the screws were tighter. I recommend this shelf for the ease of putting it together, the look of the finished product, the size, and the price.

It fits my manga really well!! I’ve had this bookshelf for at least 2 years now! The bookshelf itself isn’t heavy. It’s pretty easy to install you just need a few items all though I myself couldn’t install it without my friends help! I got the color white in the bookshelf and it was really perfect! I used this for my manga and it fits really well I might have to buy a second one or buy a bigger one but the back is pretty weak 😊.

This Furinno Luder Bookcase is a standard kit item. Made of pressed board with an attractive veneer design. The assembly instructions are fairly easy to follow, but some steps are not clearly explained (e.g. understanding which way to install some of the shelves – top side of board – ). I had installed two shelves upside down and had to undo that section to get them properly oriented.
The rest of the assembly went well and a total of about 60 minutes to unpack, sort the pieces and complete the assembly
Once completed, the unit looks very good and fits into the desired space perfectly.
5 STARS AND I DO RECOMMEND THIS ITEM
