    I loved it. Little difficult to assemble but tools provided are perfect and the allinghment is perfect too. Looks classy. The particle board for the rear could have been better. I found it too thin.can break in one kick. Overall good.

    Holes are drilled in the wrong place for part 21. Have to drill your own. This added over an hour of build time because I could NOT figure out why my rails weren’t lining up the way the illustration said. Finally I realized that the holes are in the wrong place. Front of the rail should be flush with the front of the cabinet, and yet if you do so, none of the holes are usable. Major failure. Plus, drilling into this would have been impossible without an electric screwdriver. Very VERY disappointed with this manufacturer.

    That being said, you get what you pay for. The assembly was otherwise easy, even if it takes a while. Without the drilling error, I expect it would have taken me (without assistance) about 2 hours. It does recommend in the later steps to have two people, but it’s doable alone. I do not recommend assembly without a powered drill handy.

    It works wonderfully for what I need it for and it looks nice enough. Good option for someone like me who needs basically an extension of their desk space to put a printer, and a filing drawer, with the added bonus of some drawer space for excess materials (ie paper, pens, note cards, etc). Plus the shelves are very stable and strong enough to warrant getting rid of a smaller bookshelf that I no longer needed.

    The manufacturer needs to reevaluate reselling stock that they know has improperly drilled holes….that is still a major disappointment. And it seems to be luck of the draw if you get one that does. I found only a few reviews that mention this, and I can assure you that this in no way indicates that we assembled the filing cabinet incorrectly.

    Overall would recommend for a lower-cost (not cheap obviously because it’s still over $100) option, if you don’t mind possibly needing to improvise and drill your own holes.

    I’ve put a thousand of these sort of things together in my lifetime and this was among the best. Except for IKEA, I’d say this was the best and most sturdy. The instructions were OK but could be better; I had to re-do part of it because some unclear instructions. That said, the value of what you get for the price is really good. But the best part was the unexpected level of customer service I received. The handles on my unit would not screw in properly. So I followed the instructions to email customer service not expecting much. But to my surprise, I received a response within 48 hours and they took care of everything to my satisfaction. They even had to politely bug me to get back to them so they could fix my problem – THEY followed up with ME! I’d buy from them again.

    So for a long time I was looking for a filing cabinet that also had some type of storage on it but nothing too big because I have a very small bedroom, I finally found this on Amazon so I went through the reviews and seemed pretty good for the most part so I gave it a try. I’m really glad that I did because it fits perfectly next to my dresser in the corner and has just enough room for all my personal stuff, there’s only two small things about it, I wish it was slightly taller and it personally took me way longer to build with and most of the reviews mentioned, I saw that it took most people about two hours but it actually took me four hours, now I do have to mention that I did it all by myself so no one helped and I did it while taking my time watching TV so I was probably going much slower than most, also for the most part the instructions are pretty good but there were a couple of parts that confused me causing me to set it up wrong two different times then having to take it apart to fix it which set me back a bit. The hardest part for me was the metal sliders that the drawers and the filing cabinet go onto, it took me a while to figure out how they go on but once everything was coming together it became kind of easy. So overall as long as you have time and patience than I would definitely recommend this but if you get frustrated easily then you’ll be better off buying something that’s already put together.

    I bought the DEVAISE 3-Drawer Wood File Cabinet for my husband’s office, and he absolutely loves it. It arrived in a compact box, and while it wasn’t too heavy, the packaging was still secure. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, making assembly a breeze.

    Although the cabinet was a bit smaller than I initially expected, it turned out to be a perfect fit for the space. It fits snugly under his L-shaped adjustable desk, which was a pleasant surprise. Despite its size, the cabinet feels sturdy, and the drawers slide open and close smoothly, making it highly functional for office use.

    The rolling casters are a nice feature, making it easy to move around as needed. For the price, this cabinet offers excellent value. If you’re looking for a compact yet sturdy filing cabinet that doesn’t take up too much space, this is definitely a great purchase.

    I will echo many of the other comments that the directions are trying at best. To put this together I would suggest first reading all the directions then watching the silent video on youtube on it (still not greatly helpful but a little) and then start putting things together. I had a few mishaps but overall got it together by myself in about 2 hours. The cabinet overall is of very good quality and looks really nice put together. It is the perfect size to put my all-in-one printer on the top and store normal documents in the file folder draw (love that feature).
